SOULABABE | RABI BAH
Rabi Bah, aka SoulaBabe, is a multifaceted creative whose works are mainly set in design, music and street dance. Born in Conakry, raised in Toronto, and recently living between Accra & Amsterdam, culture has been a driving force in the work she creates. From a young age, Rabi found an interest in various forms of expression ranging from garment and jewellery making, street dance, music and visual arts.
Throughout the years, Rabi’s work is understood as a continuous meditation of the role that her cultural and spiritual identities play in shaping who she is. Inspired by the images, patterns and words that have always been present around her, she uses drawing, painting and sound to express her reflections.
Driven by a passionfor meaningful connections, Rabi uses her interdisciplinary skills to contribute to social discourse through local and global collaborations.
